We have been dairy-free for close to 20 years. Over those years we have tried soy milks, rice milks, raw goat\u2019s milk and many others. For the last at least couple of\u00a0years we have landed at homemade\u00a0<strong>Almond Milk<\/strong>, the easiest and\u00a0highly\u00a0healthful alternative milk to make at home. 2 Ingredients and a handful of minutes and you&#8217;ve got it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Homemade Raw &amp; Fresh Almond Milk<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>1 cup <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1pqGH3N\" target=\"_blank\">Raw (organic) Almonds<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>2 cups Purified Water<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>4 cups Purified Water<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Soak Almonds in 2 cups Water several\u00a0hours (overnight).<\/p>\n<p>Drain and rinse well.<\/p>\n<p>Put soaked Almonds and\u00a04 cups Water\u00a0in <a href=\"https:\/\/frommeandmyhouse.com\/gfy\/downloads\/blendtec\/\" target=\"_blank\">high performance blender<\/a>, and blend 45-60 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Pour through a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1XtvlaO\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Nut Milk Bag<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(or Unbleached Cheesecloth) into large bowl (I use an 8 cup\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/20zuYeL\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Pyrex<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0\/\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1XtvsDk\" target=\"_blank\">Anchor Hocking<\/a>\u00a0measuring pitcher). Squeeze all the Milk out and pour into a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/1PAaRdn\" target=\"_blank\">1 qt. covered pitcher<\/a>\u00a0or jar and Refrigerate.<\/p>\n<p>Almond Pulp (remaining in bag\/cloth) can be sealed in a container and refrigerated or frozen to be used in desserts, or\u00a0dehydrated\u00a0and ground into Almond Meal\/Flour.<\/p>\n<p>Options:<\/p>\n<p><b>Tip!\u00a0<\/b><b><\/b>If you desire a \u201cwhiter\u201d milk you can peel the almonds after draining and rinsing. Rub each almond between your fingers to remove the peel.<\/p>\n<p><b>Tip!<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b>You can flavor the milk with Real Vanilla (bean, extract, flavor) if you desire.<\/p>\n<p>You can also sweeten it with Raw Honey, Real Maple Syrup, or Dates. Just stir in the Honey or Maple Syrup after blending\u2013about 2 tsp. &#8211; 2 Tbl. depending on how sweet you want it. Some also like to add just a dash of unrefined salt.<\/p>\n<p>To sweeten with Dates, add 3-4 pitted dates, cut up, to the blender and blend with the almonds. If adding the dates, you will get more of a cream color, even if you peel the Almonds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do you make Almond Milk?
