Spring Time – Conference Time Part 2

(continued from Part 1)

For those that are unable to get to a live conference this year, and are interested in a general conference, I recommend Cindy Rushton’s Ultimate HomeSchool Expo. This is a huge online homeschool conference that comes to you over your computer. There is a wide variety of workshop sessions for you to listen to, and if you listen while they are being recorded, you can usually ask the speaker questions you have. There are also virtual vendors booths, offering all your favorite home ed resources, many of them with special prices, and there are “Mommy Grab Bags” for every member, with a multitude of FREE gifts.

The Ultimate HomeSchool Expo is May 3rd-7th, but it lasts much longer. Preview sessions are already being recorded, and your Membership never expires. Like a live conference, you can’t take in everything while it’s going on. But at the Expo, you can download every session to listen at your convenience – no added cost – and also go back to the booths again and again, whenever you’d like. There are still sessions and booths I haven’t explored from the 2008 Expo!

I will be speaking at the Expo, recording my session on Becoming a Family of Prayer, live on April 19th at 1 p.m.

Registration for the Expo isn’t open yet, but it should be at the beginning of next week. Here’s our registration link for you. (If you go to it before registration is open it will take you nowhere. So come back and try again.)
