It is amazing, I think, that in America, one of if not the richest countries in the world, parents think they can’t "afford" children. The poorest of our people are richer than many (most?) in the world. The problem is we can’t afford children AND all the toys and self-indulgences we want (and to give the children those same things so we don’t feel so guilty about getting them for ourselves or look not as "with it" as the neighbors.)<\/p>\n
God help us for valuing the things of the world above eternal things.<\/p>\n
