To Survive and Prosper: It’s Time to Think Strategically
About Your Children, Your Household, and Your Family Culture!

If you are a Christian parent living in the twenty-first century, you need to think strategically about your family. Settling for the priorities and practices of the world is a proven formula for disaster. As parents, we must do more than settle. We must self-consciously choose. This requires strategic biblical thinking. It means self-consciously building your family culture. And whether the subject is entertainment choices, home décor, travel, music in the home, or dealing with antagonistic relatives, it means that wise, Scripturally-informed parents must think creatively as they aggressively engage impediments and obstacles to success.

Beginning March 1st, Vision Forum is launching a 20 week series called  Family Strategies: Practical Issues for Building Healthy Families”. In these weekly 30 minute downloads, Doug and Beall Philllips will share their helpful strategies for building a strong, safe, and visionary family culture.

If you order by the end of this month you’ll get $10 off and 2 Bonus audios – BUT…

I have an even better deal. One of YOU, my blog readers, will receive the series for FREE!

Watch this short video to learn more about this series.

Jack LaLanne died a few weeks ago – at age 96. Although I didn’t follow Jack much, (my dh did moreso from his body building reputation) his mentor, Paul Bragg, was, at least partially, one of mine also. And Jack was definitely a Health Hero, one to look to as a good example. George Malkmus wrote a tribute to Jack today. Below is part of it. Click the link after the excerpt to read the rest of the article.

… As I said at the start of this article, Jack LaLanne is one of my Health Heroes, and one I have tried to emulate in my life these past 35 years. It is my hope that after reading Jack’s testimony above, you will make him your Health Hero as well, and that you will desire to emulate his diet and lifestyle as I have. Share this article with your children!

For the first 15 years of his life, Jack ate the world’s diet, and you have read the consequences he suffered as a result. But at age 15, when challenged by Dr. Bragg to change his diet and start exercising, he took up the challenge and almost immediately started to see his sickly and weak young body become healthy and strong.
