072635: Jesus: The Only Way to God--Must You Hear the Gospel to Be Saved? This month christianaudio is offering a Special free audiobook, in addition to their regular monthly free book. Holiness of God, by R.C. Sproul is the regular free audiobook for March. (Click to get it if you haven’t yet.) Jesus: the Only Way to God, by John Piper, is being offered Free from today until the end of the month also.

This may seem like a simple topic, and it is the only one Piper deals with in this book, but it is no doubt one that needs to be covered in Truth. It’s a short book, only 2.5 hours on audio. I just downloaded it, and am looking forward to listening.

About Jesus: The Only Way to God christianaudio says:

If the evangelical church at large was ever too confrontational in its evangelism, those days are gone. In our shrinking, pluralistic world, the belief that Jesus is the only way of salvation is increasingly called arrogant and even hateful. In the face of this criticism, many shrink back from affirming the global necessity of knowing and believing in Jesus. In Jesus, the Only Way to God, John Piper offers a timely plea for the evangelical church to consider what is at stake in surrendering the unique, universal place of Jesus in salvation.

39655: The Holiness of God, Revised and Expanded EditionThe Holiness of God by R.C. Sproul is the March Free Audiobook Download of the Month at christianaudio.  I love this classic on God’s character and have both the audiobook offered here for free, and the print book.

What is the holiness of God? Are you intrigued by it, or are you terrified? R.C. Sproul clearly identifies this attribute of God and all the associations one may make with it. This absolutely will inform and radically cause a re-thinking of one’s view of God.

“The material in this book drove me to my knees and dramatically challenged my Christian life. Written by one of the most brilliant thinkers of our day, it is absolutely urgent reading for every Christian.” – Author Chuck Colson

39655: The Holiness of God, Revised and Expanded Edition The Holiness of God, Revised and Expanded Edition

By R.C. Sproul / Tyndale House

From Rudolf Otto’s mysterium tremendum to Martin Luther’s “insanity” and Jonathan Edwards’s fiery sermons, Sproul’s classic offers an accessible exploration of history and Scripture that will help you understand—and live with—the tension between God’s terrifying holiness and his inexplicable grace.Sproul explains, “How we understand the person and character of God the Father affects every aspect of our lives….God is inescapable. There is no place we can hide from Him. Not only does He penetrate every aspect of our lives, but He penetrates it in his majestic holiness. Therefore we must seek to understand what the holy is. We dare not seek to avoid it. There can be no worship, no spiritual growth, no true obedience without it. It defines our goal as Christians. God has declared, “Be holy, because I am holy” (Lev. 11:44). To reach that goal, we must understand what holiness is.”

Allow one of the all-time classic works on God’s character to guide you more deeply into the presence of God as you respond to God’s holiness. This edition of Sproul’s work includes challenging study questions for individuals or small groups.
